Thomas
Larbain is a designer born in 1995. He
graduated in 2018 from the Saint-Etienne School of Art and Design with his
project: “ The Grail ”.
Since 2019, he has been working in Paris where he continues his personal practice by creating objects and illustrations diverting codes borrowed from mythical objects, medieval architecture and Indiana Jones. In April 2019, he exhibits his project “ The Grail ” at the French Institute in Milan during the design-week.
In 2020/2021, he is a finalist of the design parade competition organised by the Villa Noailles with the project Pr Tournesol.
In 2021, he won the 2nd prize in the accessory category of the Cinna young talent contest with the project Aubier.
In 2023, Thomas is working with new furniture brands like Roche Bobois and cultural institutions like Clermont-Ferrand 2028 for the European Capital of Culture candidature.
